Sparkling Raspberry – An Easy and Refreshing Summer Drink

Sparkling Raspberry DrinkIf you’re wondering why I haven’t posted in a while, it was because my husband and I spontaneously took a trip up to Montréal for a few days! I suggest you go visit soon if you haven’t yet. It’s a beautiful city with friendly people and an amazing food and beer culture. I feel stuffed just thinking about all the food we ate (and beer we drank). When we got home, all I wanted to do was drink water! With that said, here is an easy and refreshing drink using fresh raspberries. The perfect drink to start Summer.

This drink is perfect to make right now, as raspberries are in season. Feel free to mix in some strawberries as well, I’m sure it would taste great. For this recipe, I didn’t add much sweetness, so feel free to adjust the sugar amount to your taste.

Add raspberries to a blender with lemon juice and sugar. Blend until smooth.

Pour mixture into a fine sieve to remove seeds. Add ice to glasses and equally pour in syrup. Top with sparkling water.

Sparkling Raspberry Drink Recipe

  • 1 1/2 cups raspberries, washed
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 3 tablespoons sugar or agave syrup, or to taste
  • 3 cups sparkling water
  • mint, for decoration

Place raspberries, lemon juice and sugar into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour mixture into a fine sieve and strain to remove the seeds.

Add ice to serving glasses and fill each glass with raspberry syrup equally. Top each glass with sparkling water. Stir and enjoy!

    Total Time: 10-15 minutes
    Yield: 4 servings

I love this drink! So refreshing! I must make this for Memorial Day weekend. Glad you & Max joined us at Purple Yam last Fri. It was great, wasn’t it? Let’s do it again soon ~ you have to tell me about Montreal. I love that city!
