Kale Green Smoothie with Grapefruit and Bananas

Kale Green Smoothie with Grapefruit and Bananas It’s been a while since my last green smoothie post. Kale is one of my favorite ingredients in a green smoothie because it’s packed with vitamins and fiber, and lowers your blood sugar, promotes regular digestion and curbs overeating. And since kale leaves have a tough exterior, be sure to blend the mixture on the highest speed until nice and smooth. Serve chilled with optional ice cubes for a healthy summer drink!

Celery Green Smoothie with Mango, Banana and Goji Berries

Celery, Goji Berry and Mango Green Smoothie If you haven’t had goji berries before, they are a great snack and also work really well in smoothies. They’re sweet, healthy and rich in antioxidants and Vitamin A. Make sure you soak the goji berries in water before blending. You can find goji berries at most health food stores, Whole Foods or on Amazon.

Swiss Chard Green Smoothie with Lime and Banana

Swiss Chard Lime Smoothie My last green smoothie post with romaine and coconut milk, was about 2 months ago so I think it’s about time for a new recipe. The flavor is bright and tangy from the lime, yet very smooth and creamy from the bananas. This particular smoothie is great for the adventurous type and a definite must try for green smoothie lovers!

Strawberry Cashew Green Smoothie This green smoothie recipe is adapted from Victoria Boutenko’s book Green Smoothie Revolution. Combining romaine lettuce, strawberries, along with cashew nuts and coconut milk, this has to be my heartiest and creamiest smoothies yet! I typically make it in the morning if I don’t have time to prepare a proper breakfast because it’s so filling. But whatever time you enjoy it, you’ll be full for several hours.

Red Berry Celery Smoothie – The Perfect Gift to Your Loved One (And to Yourself)

Red Berry Celery Smoothie Celery smoothies are among my husband’s favorite green smoothies. So to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I decided to make him a “green smoothie” that goes well with this holiday! One of my earliest green smoothie posts was a blueberry celery smoothie that is similar and equally delicious. Share this smoothie with your special someone.
